Current Positions
Classroom Associate Teacher
Full Time and Part Time
The classroom associate is responsible for assisting the teacher as directed in learning experiences for the students to which he/she is assigned in the areas of spiritual development, cognitive, receptive and expressive language, fine and gross motor, self-help, and social skills. The classroom associate is responsible for assisting in classroom activities and implementing educational curriculum designed for each student as directed by the teacher and to further the ministry and mission of the Little Light House. The classroom associate is responsible for assisting with the supervision of volunteers in the classroom and performing other duties as assigned.
The classroom associate clearly understands and embraces that they are a part of Little Light House; a Christian Development Center with Biblical core values, whose mission is to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and communities.

Event Coordinator
The Little Light House Event Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Development and Marketing and assist with the planning and execution of the major fundraising events, including Laps for Little Ones, Milestones and Miracles Luncheon, and Tees Fore Tots as well as other events including community luncheons, alumni/waitlist gatherings, donor appreciation events and assistance as needed with 3rd party events. The Event Coordinator will uphold Little Light House’s mission and vision in their daily tasks and in planning events. They will be the go-to person for daily tasks such as setting up committee meetings, maintaining event timelines and reports, assisting with creative decisions, and communicating with vendors and Little Light House staff.

Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator
The Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Development and Marketing. This role must have a positive attitude and a willing heart. They must demonstrate initiative, creativity, and excellent written and oral communication skills and see their primary function as one of service empowered by a love for God and the Little Light House mission. The Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for telling the story of Little Light House through different marketing channels and assisting with all fundraising efforts as a part of the Development team. They will oversee and implement creative projects and fundraising campaigns throughout the organization making sure they are executed with thought to brand, professionalism, and excellence. This individual must be innovative, creative, determined, self-motivated, and a team player, with good organizational skills.

Little Light House Central Mississippi is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Christian Developmental Center for children with special needs, age birth through six years of age. All gifts to Little Light House Central Mississippi are tax-deductible, less goods and services received.
